Event: Blood Drive

Summary: The UAlbany Red Cross and the Doctors for Hope worked together to host the second blood drive of the fall semester. By donating blood, you can help save hundreds of people and it’s a great way to give back to the world around you!


Event: The Therapist’s Use of Self: The Magic of Attunement

Where: Zoom Meeting

When: 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Summary: During this event, the School of Social Welfare is hosting an event to explore the research of the effect of a therapy relationship and their successful outcomes on individual’s lives. This seminar teaches critical skills for workers in the mental health field and investigates the power of “therapeutic attunement.” $130 is required to participate in this event.


Event: Creative Arts Therapy for Building Resilience Necessary for Recovery

Where: Zoom Meeting

When: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Summary: This workshop is hosted by the Creative Arts Therapies to provide professionals with the necessary skills to aid patients in PTSD recovery. This event costs $85 for UA staff and $170 for other field instructors.


Event: LLC Spanish Table: Mesa de Espanol

Summary: Come join students and professors engage in fun, leisurely Spanish conversation and then meet native speakers from all different countries. Everyone is welcome!

Summary: The Undergraduate Research Center is hosting a workshop to help juniors and seniors construct a strong application for the NYS Legislative Internships. Come drop by if you need assistance!


Event: 4th Annual Albany Book Festival

Where: Campus Center

When: 10:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Summary: The NYS Writers Institute of Albany is hosting the 4th annual book festival with award-winning and best-selling authors such as Nana Kwame Adjei - Brenyah, Ayad Akhtar, Bethany C. Morrow, Nathaniel Philbrick, Dana Spotta, and many more.
