An afternoon ceremony honoring University at Albany’s 2022 senior class was held on Tuesday at Bob Ford Field at Tom & Mary Casey Stadium. The seniors included: Domenic Baumann, Vinicius Giannaccini, Giuliano Lucca, Pantelis Panteli, Sam Philip, Neophytos Scottis, and Julian Terris.

In the first seven minutes, UAlbany earned three corner kicks and had their first shot by the 4:34 mark. The first shot for Colgate didn't come until the 29th minute, and they ended the first half without a corner kick.

36 minutes into the game, Colgate struck first. In the right corner of the field, the Raiders were fouled deep in UAlbany territory. Colgate scored on a free kick taken by Chris Noriega from a shallow angle that ricocheted off the far post.

71 minutes into the game, UAlbany scored the equalizer, thanks to back-to-back corner kick opportunities. After the first kick into play, Colgate's defense blocked Baumann's shot in the box, which fell off the baseline.

In the ensuing corner, Lucca found Tiago Dias on the far side of the box. Scottis kicked the ball low and left, beating Colgate keeper Andrew Cook to tie the game. Dias headed the ball downwards and back into the middle of the field.

1-1 was the result of the game, the Great Danes' seventh tie of the season. Both teams finished the game with 11 shots in total. Scottis' goal was his first of the season and second of his UAlbany career.
