In a few weeks, University at Albany students will be back home for the summer. Catching up with friends from home at bonfires, beach days, and lazy nights in the heat requires a playlist to match it. If you are struggling to find the perfect mix for your summer-time mood, look no further than the ASP’s all-new summer playlist.
AOK - Tai Verdes
California native, Tyler Colon, aka Tai Verdes, released this R&B hit single in May 2021, which instantly became a summer hit. The strums of the ukulele and the uplifting beat will make you want to ride your skateboard down the boardwalk on a nice warm day or dance like nobody’s watching.
Malibu - The Driver Era

Doin’ Time - Lana del Rey
“Doin’ Time” is from Lana’s hit album, “Norman F***king Rockwell.” The chorus which consists of lyrics like “Summertime, and the livin’s easy” is a perfect poolside jam that stays true to theme. The song is a cover of Sublime’s song of the same name.
Santeria - Sublime
