The past week saw the following outcomes for University at Albany sports:

Tuesday, April 2:
Baseball beat Siena 17-12. The Great Danes recorded 10 hits and one error. Mike Prisco led UAlbany with five RBI’s. Cam Fuer pitched 2.1 innings, recorded two strikeouts, and earned the win. The Great Danes improved to a record of 4-16, and 3-2 in America East play.
Saturday, April 6:
Softball beat UMBC 3-2. The Great Danes recorded eight hits and two errors. Victoria Vilarchao led UAlbany with two RBI’s. Wendi Hammond pitched a complete game, recorded six strikeouts, and earned the win. The Great Danes improved to a record of 15-6, and 4-0 in America East play.
Men’s lacrosse fell to Bryant 13-12. The Great Danes took 38 shots, with 24 shots on goal, and recorded 17 turnovers. Silas Richmond, Amos Whitcomb, Daniel Kesselring, and Jackson Palumb led UAlbany in goals with two each, and Ryan Doherty led in assists with two. Goalkeeper Landon Whitney recorded 10 saves. The Great Danes now stand at a record of 4-6, and 3-1 in America East play.
Women’s lacrosse fell to UMBC 12-11. The Great Danes took 28 shots, with 17 shots on goal, and recorded 15 turnovers. Katie Pascale led UAlbany in goals with four, and in assists with two alongside Mikaela Mooney. Goalkeeper Grace Cincebox recorded nine saves. The Great Danes now stand at a record of 4-8, and 3-1 in America East play.

Sunday, April 7:
Baseball fell to Bryant 17-4. The Great Danes recorded two hits and five errors. Luke Myers, Jared Toby, Justin Hurd, and Cooper Loyal each recorded an RBI. Matthew Mariano pitched 3.0 innings, recorded four strikeouts, and was charged with the loss. UAlbany fell to a record of 4-18, and 3-4 in America East play.
Baseball fell to Bryant 11-1. The Great Danes recorded six hits and five errors. Ryan Ferremi recorded one RBI. Dylan Banner pitched 3.0 innings and was charged with the loss. UAlbany now stands at a record of 4-19, and 3-5 in America East play.
Softball fell to UMBC 3-2. The Great Danes recorded two hits and four errors. Morgan Petty and Victoria Vilarchao each recorded an RBI. Kate Powers pitched a complete game, recorded five strikeouts, and was charged with the loss. UAlbany fell to a record of 15-7, and 4-1 in America East play.
