each other, together

By Saraí Knox | February 14, 2024

they hold each other

in a tight embrace

fingers intertwined,

bodies inseparable.

they move across the floor,

stepping on toes,

stumbling over each other,

fighting for control.

they pull away,

but only enough to gaze into each others eyes

for fear that pulling farther

would detach them completely.

her hands find the back of his neck,

fingers intertwining

his hands find her waist,

bodies inseparable.

she begins to sway

& so does he.

eyes closed,

they breathe.
